Hey.
I'm Jessica!

(YOU CAN CALL ME JESS)

Licensed therapist, dog mom, and recovering people-pleaser and over-thinker.

I created these free resources for the moments when you know something feels off, but you’re not quite sure how to name it, explain it, or respond without second-guessing yourself.

Start with whichever one feels most useful right now. You don’t have to figure everything out today. Sometimes having the right words in front of you is a good place to start.

Scripts for
Difficult Parents

Setting boundaries with difficult parents is hard enough. Knowing what to say when they guilt-trip you, dismiss you, shut down, or act like you’re the problem can make it even harder.

These scripts give you simple, grounded responses you can come back to when you’re overwhelmed, second-guessing yourself, or trying not to get pulled into the same old argument.

You don’t have to say everything perfectly. Sometimes you just need a place to start.

Get Better at Feelings

Sometimes “I feel bad” is the best your brain can give you.

This feelings wheel can help you slow down, name what’s actually coming up, and get more specific about what you’re feeling. Start in the middle, work your way outward, and use it whenever your emotions feel loud, confusing, or hard to explain.

You don’t have to get it exactly right. The goal is just to get a little closer.
